![]() ![]() ![]() We will discuss Stress Analysis later. Besides being used for construction, Iso drawings also serve to mark up any deviation on site and as a reference for Pipe Stress analysis model build-up. This is where Isometric Drawings (also referred to as Iso) play their part. In this article, we will focus on piping drawings that we will send out for fabrication. After the 3D model has been established, how do we convey the necessary information to the yard for fabrication? The information provided must be sufficient and include a visual representation of the piping system to be fabricated, including details on pipe connections, dimensions, and complete build of materials (BOM). If you have missed any previous articles, you may refer to "Piping Material Components" here or "Piping & Instrumentations Diagram" here. Alternatively, you can access them at article number 003. To clarify the explanation, I will use another book as the primary source for this topic: "Teknologi dan Perencanaan Sistem Perpipaan" by Ir. Raswari (Penerbit Universitas Indonesia, 2007).
